#104 | How to Inactivate an Employee in NetSuite

Inactivating an Employee Record

For this tutorial, we will still use John Smith’s employee record as an example.

Once logged into NetSuite, here are the steps to follow when inactivating an employee record.

  • Step 1: Go to Lists → Employees → Employees.
  • Step 2: In the Employee page, click Edit.

  • Step 3: Go to System Information

  • Step 4: Check the Inactive

  • Step 5: Click Save. A confirmation message will appear on top of the page.
  • Step 6: Check the Inactive tag beside the employee name to verify inactivation.
