Let’s look at an example. You will see a listing of all the journal entries that we have and we’re going to select journal entry 180 as an example.

Once you click into the journal entry, it will take you to the details. On the upper right-hand-side, you will see the arrows, the left and the right, List, and Search. The left and right buttons allow you to scroll through the journal entries without having to go back to the list.

List takes you back to the list of journal entries itself so that you don’t have to start from the beginning again. Search allows you to search for specific transactions if this is not the transaction you’re looking for.

Left and Right Arrow Buttons

If you click on the right button, the right arrow, it will bring us to the next journal entry. If you click on the left arrow, it will bring us to the previous journal entry. If you click on List, it will take us back to the list of the journal entries. There’s no need to go back to Transactions, Financial, Make journal, and List each time. It’s a great time saver.
